Wildlife Tales 
August 16th, 11:30 am, Camp Meade
We are excited to once again welcome Mike and the Southern Vermont Natural History Museum for "Wildlife Tales". Take a literary journey around the world through tales of animals and magic. With each story, a live animal will visit to bring a natural history piece to the myth and legends!

The Arts Bus

The Arts Bus is rolling into town for two stops to share the magic of art through an engaging puppet show and a take-home art kit.

StoryWalks®. Look for several StoryWalks® posted for the next few weeks throughout the Mad River Valley as a fun way to get out for a walk and read at the same time!

Beanstack Reading Challenges

Avoid summer slide by signing up for summer reading. Children and youth can register with vermont.beanstack.org to log minutes spent reading, participate in literacy challenges, and earn badges. Those who complete a full reading challenge before September 9, 2020 will receive a special prize from the Mad River Libraries. Contact kidsjml@madriver.com for more information.

Summer Reading Book Bundles

Families with an account at one of the Mad River Libraries can borrow a summer reading “book bundle” for each child.* The librarians will assemble a collection tailored specifically to each child’s age and tastes along with an "Imagine Your Story" gnome-making kit to be picked up at one of the Mad River Libraries.
