Clothing Upcycling & Pizza Party
Joslin Memorial Library
Friday, July 11th
5:30-7:30 pm

**REGISTRATION REQUIRED**

Join local artist and mender Meg Reinhold and remake our clothes into something new! Please bring a few items of clothing that are asking for an update, whether they need a patch or could just use some pizzazz. We'll learn the basics of mending from Meg and experiment with painting, stamping, nature prints and more. See how much you can transform your clothes by the end of the evening! We'll need some fuel for this fashion-y fete, so pizza will be served.

This program is drop-off friendly for kids 10 and older, but younger children may also participate along with an adult caregiver.

Color our Twirly Whirly World
Warren Public Library
Saturday, July 12th
3-4:30 pm

Join puppeteer Sarah Frechette of Puppetkabob for a performance of The Snowflake Man, inspired by Wilson "Snowflake" Bentley, the self-educated farmer and scientist who attracted world attention when he became the first person to photograph a single snow crystal. The Snowflake Man swings audiences into the historic 1920s through creative storytelling, intricately designed Czech-style marionettes, and a striking pop-up book of water color scenery. The magic continues with a hands-on workshop after the show where we will celebrate the summer weather by creating twirling whirling windsocks filled with color and character.
